El Rey del Mundo - Rectangulares
This is a new addition to our shelves, but not a new cigar by any means. In fact, one of the first boxes of cigars I ever bought was the Rectangulares.
This is a pretty cigar. They come in a cabinet style box, packed in 5 rows of 6 rigidly square-pressed cigars. Each cigar is wrapped in the classic El Rey del Mundo tissue paper with the recogizable yellow band.
The cigars are made in the Villazon factory in Honduras, from Honduran filler and binder, and wrapped in a gorgeous Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf. Sized at 5.62 x 45, they represent 45 minutes or so of top quality cigar enjoyment.
The Rectangulares is a medium bodied smoke. Not as heavy as some Hondurans, they have what I find to be a signature Honduran citrusy quality, while the Ecuador Sumatra wrapper provides a slighly spicy contrast.
At the Mane Street Cigars price of $5.25 each, these are a great buy. Stop in and try one.
